Social Impact Shark Tank Application

Compete to win $10,000 for your project advancing boys, men or fatherhood. Successful candidates get 10 minutes on stage to describe their project, why it works, and why they should win. Stipend for those traveling more than 100 miles.

Successful applicants:

• Describe the problem you are solving
• Why you are the person to lead the project
• Why your project will succeed
• You and your program can be anywhere (not Virginia specific)

Q: Do I have to be based in or specifically serve Virginia?

A: No. Applicants accepted from anywhere!

Q: Does my pitch have to be for a new organization?

A: The pitch can be a new organization, or a program within an existing org.

Q: Is this for nonprofits only?

A: No. Government / public programs and social impact for-profit companies are also eligible.

Q: I am really shy and not a good public speaker. Can I submit a video instead?

A: No, this is a live event, but our professional media trainer will work with you to make sure you feel confident and your presentation is 100%!
